International Workshop on “CYBERSECURITY IN TELECOMMUNICATION NETWORKS AND SERVICES”
Maggio 20, 2020 @ 11:30 pm - Settembre 16, 2023 @ 2:00 am
Fondazione Guglielmo Marconi – Villa Griffone
Since 2007 (cyber attack to Estonia) it has been clear that Critical National Infrastructures (CNI) are low effort and very critical criminal and military targets for cyber attacks. To better protect Telecommunication networks and services, the EU Commission has issued the NIS Directive and the Cyber Security Act, with the basic rules for cyber defense and for collaboration among EU nations. Italy has therefore created the ACN (the national cybersecurity agency) and decided to act through specific national organizations focused on the various aspects (incident response, EU collaborations, certifications…). Public and private companies in the area of telecommunication networks and services have therefore to comply to new rules and regulations. The Guglielmo Marconi Foundation has therefore organized the international workshop on “Cybersecurity in Telecommunication Networks and Services” on May 20, 2022 at Villa Griffone, the site of Marconi’s first experiments of wireless communications, focusing on the most relevant topics and impacts of cybersecurity on telecommunications.
